Question: Patent infringement lawsuit

In a patent infringement lawsuit, what could be the possible bad outcomes for a plaintiff? i mean basically in the case a plaintiff alleging that the defendant infringed his patent. What can the plaintiff loose if the defendant wins the case? the plaintiff can be forced to pay the defendant attorney fees? anything else that the plaintiff might be forced to pay to the defendant or to someone else other than the own plaintiff attorney fees ( that does not exist if the plaintiff attorney is working on a contingency basis as far as i understand )?

Answer: Some of the bad outcomes can be your patent being found invalid, a finding of non-infringement, and an award of attorney fees to the defendant.

Even in a contingency arrangement, the bad outcomes can be the same.
